Wake-up to this magnificent view, at the top of the Upper Hunter Valley. Combadello Cottage sits at about 2300 feet above sea-level (the highest house in the Liverpool Ranges/Hunter Valley) and is set on 100 acres, 4 easy scenic hours from Sydney. It is 15minutes (12 kms) from the cafes of Murrurundi but a million miles from care.

  

Seclusion

Enjoy entirely to yourselves, the privacy this romantic closed valley has to offer along with the beauty of the Pages River, Towarri Creek, Towarri National Park and the Liverpool ranges; all of which are on the property or bound it. Combadello provides the first ever and only access to the Northern side of Towarri National Park.

During your stay you have exclusive use of Combadello Cottage and it's 100 acres. The self-catered luxury accommodation has everything you will need and probably more...  Combadello Cottage offers luxury accommodation for couples, families (pet friendly), bushwalkers, birdwatchers, wildlife and outdoor enthusiasts. 

  

Activities  

Combadello offers many options to fill your stay. It's seclusion, altitude and proximity allow you to decide how active your time at our retreat shall be. Obviously acivites favour those enthusiastic about the outdoor delights we have. Some of the obvious choices are.

* A relaxing, romantic getaway

* Picnics by the river, including a refreshing swim.

* Relax on the fully enclosed veranda or large lawn and take in the views

* Wood fired pizza oven - create and cook your own pizza's (roasts also amazing)

* Bushwalking both on Combadello and in the Towarri National Park.  

* Birdwatching and wildlife watching

* Exploring the northern face of the National Park.  

* Climbing the highest peaks of the Liverpool Ranges

* Orienteering and rogainin

There are many options to fill your visit, whether you have come just to relax and get away from the “rush” or to be among the first to explore Combadello and Towarri NP and all the wildlife both have to offer...

  

In 15 minutes you can be enjoying a gorgeous organic coffee at "The Telegraph Cafe" or visit the local golf course. If you would like to venture further around the district the following places are well worth a look: Paradise Park and the Eye of the Needle, Timor Caves, Wallabadah Rock, Burning Mountain and Cedar Brush Rainforest.  For a day trip; Nundle village has a historic woollen mill, antique shops and a cosy country pub.

  

For those seeking some entertainment there is the Tamworth Country Music Festival in January or Murrurundi’s King of The Ranges in May.
